This family was so fun to work with! They came relaxed and ready to have fun – fishing rods and tackle box in hand! I haven’t shot at Harrison before and I was pleasantly surprised to arrive on an evening where no one was around so we could have the beach to ourselves. Thank you Will and Steph for making my job easy with your easy-going and fun personalities. I loved watching you both interact with the kids, the love is there for everyone to seefull post »
Sweet little Denise ~ she looked so tiny in her crib, so beautiful, so dainty. The warm light streaming through her window made everything seem fresh and bright and new, like little Denise.
Thank you Jantina for letting me be apart of capturing your little girl at this precious age!

Eeek!! I was SO excited when Nikolien said her baby boy was finally here! I feel like I have definitely become like part of this family, from shooting their wedding, to extended family, to first year anniversary, to maternity shoots with her sisters, to now their first child! Ronan is SUCH a cutie and I loved snuggling him! Nikolien, you and Dan are already amazing parents and I’m excited to watch Ronan grow! 🙂full post »
This little bundle of beauty was such a doll the whole time – I think it was my fastest newborn shoot ever! She just lay so contently looking up into my face. 🙂 Thank you Carla for letting me capture your beautiful girl, it was a joy!full post »
They pulled up in the parking lot. The kids jumped out and immediately gave me a warm smile. I commented on how pretty the girls’ dresses were and Tamara immediately looked up at me with her sparkly brown eyes and said, “Oh thank you! They are new, aren’t they so pretty?! And I have matching shoes and my Mommy has nice shoes too. Do you like my Mommy’s shoes?” It was right then in that moment I knew this session was going to be a BLAST! The kids took no time at allfull post »
There is nothing more exciting than being able to watch families grow and to be there to capture it! I did Zandre’s newborn photos a couple years ago and it was one of my first shoots (you can see them here). It was such a treat to come back and capture his beautiful little sister, Emmalynn on the same bed that I did his photos.
Being able to spend time with Zandre again was so special and he kept me smiling as he showed me around his adorable bedroom. Thanks Willemijn for inviting mefull post »
When Lexi contacted me interested in another family session I was SO excited! I loved meeting this family last fall and doing their photos – the kids were just the sweetest ever and Jonathan + Lexi were a joy to work with!
We wanted to capture some summer loveliness and with all this amazing sun we’ve been having, it wasn’t difficult to find an evening to head out for some photos! The kids were all a bit taller, Annika’s hair was longer, the baby wasn’t a babyfull post »
A couple weeks ago I went to babysit Gavin + Blythe while Lyndon was at school and Carina took Airyn shopping for her birthday. I brought my camera along planning to take a couple photos throughout the day, hoping to capture some cute moments. As soon as I starting shooting, I thought it’d be fun to shoot the entire day and try and capture a typical day at the Les house when I’m there. Capturing breakfast time, nap time, play time, snack time, and snuggle time along with some set upfull post »
This has probably been my favourite hike so far! We took the whole day off so we could take our time getting to the top. 4 hours up and 2.5 hours down with a few hours to rest and take in the view once we got there. It was simply BREATHTAKING! The stunning view of the lake with the clouds opening up and the sun glistening on the water was more beautiful than I had imagined. Kirtus brought his fishing rod and Luke go-proed under the water the slimy things biting at his bate. Hopefully itfull post »
