Favourites of 2016

2016 was a much quieter year than 2015 for my business. Life was crazy and turned upside down so many times that it ended up being a blessing in disguise. Each and every person I worked with this year was simply lovely and made my job easy. I was able to capture people’s souls and stories and some of my favourite images to date are from this past year’s work. Thank you to each and every person who allowed me to be apart of your life and capture you in 2016. I loved every minute offull post »

Marcus

“We loooove the pics Rachel!!! The expressions on the kids faces…the casualness of it all…you captured these precious newborn moments beautifully!!! Can’t wait to make a collage with them!” – K.D. This is one of my favourite sessions to date. The colour schemes, the closeness of the family, a super happy little baby and gorgeous kids to work with, everything about it was a photographer’s dream. Anna

I was so thrilled when this beautiful family contacted me again for newborn photos of their precious addition Anna. I loved meeting this sweet family last year – you can see our fun river adventure here. Thank you for letting me be apart of this special time in your life, Wim & Irma! You are so blessed with these precious little ones!full post »

George & Lillian

This family was an absolute delight to work with! Lillian and I have been emailing back and forth since the summer and I was excited when she wanted a fall shoot in all this autumn loveliness. Even though we didn’t have the sun and warmth we were looking for, there was no disappointment here with the golden leaves scattering the path and the mountainside lit up with vibrant fall colours. Thank you George, Lillian, and Shepherd for being amazing – it was so fun working with you guys!full post »

Lila Delayne

Lila Delayne // This beautiful little miracle made my first newborn shoot of the year a dream. Her delicate little features, her adorable facial expressions, fingers always reaching for her mouth. I love life at this age – it’s beautiful & new, and it displays the glory and awesomeness of our great God!  full post »
